Thanks to everyone who came out for our pumpkin tasting this past Thursdayevening!  We enjoyed getting to share some of our lesser known favorites with everyone.  Weyerbacher‘s Imperial Pumpkin won several people over with a great spice balance and higher ABV, while Doc’s Draft Pumpkin Cider blew expectations out of the water.

Join us this upcoming Friday, October 2nd, from 5-7 PM for a tap takeover with Oskar Blues!  We’ll have Brent in the house to help you explore some special treats from their portfolio as well as keep you updated on what they’ve got coming down the pipeline.  We’ve got kegs of Good Game, their Belgian-style Quad, as well as a Bourbon Barrel Aged Deviant Dale’s on deck for tasting and growler fills.  This is one event you won’t want to miss!

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!  If you’d like daily updates and information about kegs as they’re tapped, make sure to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

Thanks again,

Thanks to everyone who came out for our Founders tap takeover last night!  We blew through our KBS keg but we’ve still got ReDANKulous and a few other treats still on tap so you’ll want to stop in soon.  We had a blast sharing some amazing beer with everyone and would also like to give an extra thanks to Scott for coming out and spreading the Founders knowledge and love.

Join us this upcoming Thursday, September 24th, from 5-7 PM for a free pumpkin beer tasting!  Now that the temperature is starting to drop we thought it would be the perfect time to help everyone prepare for the fall.  Pumpkin ales are brewed with pumpkin and feature enough spice to remind you of pumpkin pie and other fall foods.

Don’t forget to keep your calendar marked for October 2nd for our Oskar Blues tap takeover!  We have several awesome surprises in store including a keg of 2014 Ten FIDY.  As the event gets closer, we’ll reveal more of the kegs we’ve got ready and waiting.  This is another takeover that you won’t want to miss.

Thanks to everyone who came out for our fall seasonal tasting this past Thursday!  We had a great time sharing some of the seasonals that get lost in the shuffle due to all of the pumpkin and Oktoberfest beers.  Ommegang’s Grains of Truth had a strong showing thanks to its blend of barley, wheat, oats, and rye.

It’s finally here!  Join us this upcoming Friday, September 18th, from 5-7 PM for ourFounders Brewing Co tap takeover!  We’ll have KBS, ReDANKulous, and Blushing Monk all available for growler fills.  KBS will be limited to 32 ounce growlers but all of the others will be unlimited.  We will NOT be taking early growler drop offs.  If you want to keep your spot in the “fill line” you’ll have to hang around so that we can keep everything organized and running efficiently.  Our Founders rep, Scott, will be here during the tasting to help run everyone through these delicious brews.

Thanks to everyone who came out for our IPA tasting this past Thursday evening!  We had a great time showing everyone just how truly different IPAs can be.  The biggest surprise of the evening was Conquest‘s Coffee IPA – the combination isn’t seen very often so no one expected it to work.  Alpine was also a big star of the evening thanks to it’s fantastic hop balance.

Join us this upcoming Thursday, September 10th, for a fall seasonal tasting.  When most people think of fall beers, they think of Oktoberfest or pumpkin ales, but there are a few fall beers that don’t fit in either category and we’ll share those with you this week.  Drop in anytime between 5 and 7PM to try these tasty beers.

It’s getting closer every day!  Our two big upcoming tap takeovers will sneak up fast, especially the first.  Fan favorite Founders Brewing Co will be joining us for a tap takeover on Friday, September 18th, and we’ve got some amazing kegs waiting including their famous KBS.  We’ll continue to let details slip as we get closer to the event.  You’ll also want to be prepared for Oskar Blues on Friday, October 2nd.  These will be some of our best lineups yet and we can’t wait!
