Thanks to everyone who came out for our Amber tasting this past Thursday! This malt forward style makes a perfect companion for the season change while still being easy drinking. There were fans of all the beers we tried but The Unknown Brewing‘s Hospitali-Tea was the clear winner. It’s been one of our favorites for a while and the cans turned out extremely well. Their usage of tea and honey makes it one of the more unique Ambers we’ve experienced.
Join us this upcoming Thursday, August 20th, from 5-7 PM for an Oktoberfest tasting. Since we’re all dreaming of fall, and these beers are rolling in, we thought it would be a great time to visit the style. Drop in anytime during the two hour window to try these seasonal beers.
We’ve got several killer tap takeovers coming up over the next few months. You’ll want to stay a step ahead of the game and get these dates marked on your calendar because we’ve got some very special kegs you won’t want to miss. Fan favorite Founders Brewing Co on Friday, September 18th with one of the best lineups we’ve ever had for a tap takeover! Don’t be surprised if you have to show up early for this one. We’ll also have Oskar Blues in the store on Friday, October 2nd, from 5-7 PM. Both of these events are free so bring your friends to help us give these breweries a warm welcome!
We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future. If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it! Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more! If you’d like daily updates and information about kegs as they’re tapped, make sure to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.
