Thanks to everyone who came out for our tasting with Shawn and Birds Fly South Ale Project!  We had several people come in unsure about sours and farmhouse inspired ales but helped change a few minds.  If you enjoyed what you tasted, Shawn is hoping to get product out into the market in July – and we can’t wait!  We’ll make sure that we help everyone stay up to date on their opening progress.

Join us this upcoming Friday, June 5th, for our tap takeover with Sixpoint Brewery out of Brooklyn, New York!  These “mad scientists” are best known around here for their Resin Imperial IPA, but they’ve got a lot of other delicious canned beer as well.  Stop in any time from 5-7 PM for a taste at some of their different brews including Resin on tap!

It’s almost time for our third anniversary!  Beginning on the 1st of June, we’ll start our annual charity basket raffle.  Entries are $5, just like last year, and each entry gives you a chance to win a box of limited releases from this past year.  We’ve included a list of local charities on each entry because we want you to decide where the donation should go each year.  There’s no limit on the number of entries per person and we have a full list of brews here at the store.

On July 11th, we’ll be joined by Brewery 85 for our anniversary tap takeover!  We’ll have several of their kegs on tap for your enjoyment as well as a cask!  There will be door prizes throughout the day and we’ll finish the day by drawing the winner of the charity basket.  We’ll post more details about event time, beer selection, and catering soon, so be on the look out!

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!  If you’d like daily updates and information about kegs as they’re tapped, make sure to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

Thanks again,
