Thanks to everyone who came out for our Kolsch tasting this past Thursday evening!  With spring weather finally starting to tease us, this German-style Blonde Ale makes the perfect companion for a day in the sun.  All three of the offerings we had on hand made strong showings but the classic Reissdorf blew the competition away thanks to incredible drinkability.

The fantastic COAST Brewing out of Charleston will be in the store on Friday, April 3rd, from 5-7 PM for a tap takeover featuring some of their best brews, including the famous Boy King Double IPA. Drew will be here to talk about all things COAST and we’ll have a few pint glasses on hand to give away with growler fills. This is one event you won’t want to miss.

Greenville Craft Beer Week is looming on the horizon and we’re extremely excited about our event for the week – a tap takeover with The Unknown Brewing Co onFriday, April 24th!  Stop in any time between 5-7 PM to taste some fantastic year round and summer brews from this young brewery.  We’ll be joined by Emily who’ll be ready to answer all of your questions and keep you updated on all of the great beer they’ve got coming in the future.

If you’re looking for a new beer for your weekend make sure you stop in and check out the 2015 Oskar Blues Gubna.  This spring and summer Imperial IPA has always been a favorite around Crafted and this year they’ve kicked the recipe up a notch.  Gubna 2015 has been dry-hopped with El Dorado, Comet, and Chinook for a dank and citrusy nose with a bitter but smooth finish.  We don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the changes!
