Thanks to everyone who came out for our Stout and Porter tasting this past Thursdayevening!  We had fun (re)introducing everyone to some of our regional favorites. Thomas Creek’s Coffee Oatmeal Stout and Unknown’s Silverback Stout were the two big standouts with their fantastic aromas and drinkability.  We’ve got plenty more great options to help you stay warm!

Join us this upcoming Thursday, January 15th, from 5-7 PM for a free tasting featuring Barleywines.  In another effort to help people stay warm during the transition months, we wanted to highlight this big and bold style.  Barleywines are often characterized by their higher alcohol content and the accompanying sweetness.  We’ll have some of our favorites on hand and we can’t wait to share with them everyone.

You’ll want to mark your calendar for our Oskar Blues tap takeover on January 23rd! We’re still finalizing kegs, but expect to see fan favorites like Ten Fidy and G’Knight along with a few specialties.  We’ll have a rep from the brewery here to talk about everything they’ve got brewing up, and we’ll have some swag on hand to give out.

If you’re a fan of Founders then you’ll want to stop in and grab a few bottles of their returning Black Rye.  This Black Rye ale is a trailblazer for the Black IPA style that is slowly becoming more popular today.  Founders hasn’t brewed this one for several years and they’ve picked the perfect time for its return.

If you’ve got a kegerator at home and you’ve found yourself hunting to get your CO2 refilled, we’ve got great news.  You can now stop in and we’ll trade out CO2 canisters with you.  At this time, we’re only exchanging 5 pound cylinders but might have more options in the future.  We can also help out with your keg needs, so drop in and let us know how we can help!

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!  If you’d like daily updates and information about kegs as they’re tapped, make sure to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

Thanks again,

Carl & Vance
