Thanks to everyone who joined us this past week for our St Bernardus tasting!  This classic Belgian brewery has been around for a long time and is extremely well known amongst fans of Quadrupels.  Their Abt 12 Quad was one of the original recipes for Westvleteren 12 and the quality still shows all of these years later.

Join us this upcoming Thursday, February 5th, from 5-7 PM for a tasting featuring Ciders.  Our Cider fanbase has been growing and we’ve had several requests for another tasting.  We’ll have a mix of some of our favorite Apple, Pear, and other fruit Ciders on hand for samples.  Stop by any time during the two hour window and see that all ciders aren’t overly sweet and can be extremely refreshing.

We’ve finalized a date for our next tap takeover and we think you’ll want to go ahead and clear your schedule now.  Join us on Friday, February 20th, from 5-7 PM for a tap takeover featuring Westbrook!  We’ve got a few amazing anniversary kegs that we’ve been holding on to for a day like this.  This years 4th Anniversary Chocolate Coconut Almond Stout will be joined by last years 3rd Anniversary Orange Bliss, as well as a keg of Mexican Cake.  We’ll have swag on hand to give away with each growler fill as well.

If you’ve got big plans for the Super Bowl and need some last minute brews, we’ll be open an hour early (at 12 Noon) on Sunday, February 1st.  We’ve got plenty of great options available for growlers so you can stock up for your party and grab something that’ll please everyone.

If you’ve got a kegerator at home and you’ve found yourself hunting to get your CO2 refilled, we’ve got great news.  You can now stop in and we’ll trade out CO2 canisters with you.  At this time, we’re only exchanging 5 pound cylinders but might have more options in the future.  We can also help out with your keg needs, so drop in and let us know how we can help!

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!  If you’d like daily updates and information about kegs as they’re tapped, make sure to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

Join us this upcoming Thursday, January 29th, from 5-7 PM for a tasting featuring Brouwerij St. Bernardus.  This classic Belgian brewery is best known for their Abt 12 Quadrupel which was actually one of the original recipes for the world famous Westvleteren 12.  Stop in any time during the two hour window for a taste of the Abt 12 as well as several of their other Belgian ales.

With today being National Beer Can Day, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to introduce you to Red Hare Brewing from Marietta, Georgia!  Red Hare cans all of their year round offerings and just added another brew to the lineup – Cotton Tail Pale Ale.  Previously a seasonal, Cotton Tail features Zythos hops for light citrus and floral notes.  This 5.5% ABV ale is flavorful and refreshing, perfect for a lazy day around the house or while out on an adventure.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our Barleywine tasting this past Thursdayevening!  We’d also like to give a special thanks to Adam from Firebirds on Woodruff who brought some delicious appetizers to taste as well.  Uinta‘s Cockeyed Cooper proved to be one of the most popular offerings of the night due how well the bourbon barrel aging balanced out the sweetness.

Join us this upcoming Friday, January 23rd, from 5-7 PM for our Oskar Blues tap takeover!  We’ll be joined by Brent from the brewery to talk about all of the great things they’ve got brewing up in Brevard, NC for 2015.  Fan favorites G’Knight and Ten FIDY will be on tap along with their new Pinner Throwback IPA and Christmas Old Chub with cocoa nibs and spruce tips.  We’ll have glassware to give away with your growler fills, too.  This is one event you definitely won’t want to miss!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our Stout and Porter tasting this past Thursdayevening!  We had fun (re)introducing everyone to some of our regional favorites. Thomas Creek’s Coffee Oatmeal Stout and Unknown’s Silverback Stout were the two big standouts with their fantastic aromas and drinkability.  We’ve got plenty more great options to help you stay warm!

Join us this upcoming Thursday, January 15th, from 5-7 PM for a free tasting featuring Barleywines.  In another effort to help people stay warm during the transition months, we wanted to highlight this big and bold style.  Barleywines are often characterized by their higher alcohol content and the accompanying sweetness.  We’ll have some of our favorites on hand and we can’t wait to share with them everyone.

You’ll want to mark your calendar for our Oskar Blues tap takeover on January 23rd! We’re still finalizing kegs, but expect to see fan favorites like Ten Fidy and G’Knight along with a few specialties.  We’ll have a rep from the brewery here to talk about everything they’ve got brewing up, and we’ll have some swag on hand to give out.

If you’re a fan of Founders then you’ll want to stop in and grab a few bottles of their returning Black Rye.  This Black Rye ale is a trailblazer for the Black IPA style that is slowly becoming more popular today.  Founders hasn’t brewed this one for several years and they’ve picked the perfect time for its return.
