Thanks to everyone who came out for our Freehouse tasting on Friday evening!  We had a blast hosting Arthur and further introducing everyone to his brews.  Their Bitter Monk was a huge hit with fantastic citrus flavors from fresh organic grapefruit and orange zest.  Instead of dry-hopping, Freehouse “dry-zested” the Bitter Monk.

Join us this upcoming Thursday, May 15th, from 5-7 PM for a tasting featuring a selection of sours!  Sours are currently becoming increasingly popular and come in a very wide variety of styles.  We’ve had people express interest in further exploring sours and we thought this would be perfect timing.

Two years ago, Stone bottled their Smoked Porter with Vanilla Beans and Chipotle Peppers.  Since then, we’ve only seen the Vanilla Bean variation return – until now.  Stone Smoked Porter with Chipotle Peppers adds another layer to the flavor thanks to the interplay of smoke and heat.  The peppers give a nice touch of heat instead of the long lingering burn of the Stone Crime and Punishment.
