Thanks to everyone who came out for our Anchor Brewing tasting this past Thursday!  Anchor has been a San Francisco classic for a very long time thanks to their Steam Beer.  We hope we helped create a few new fans of their great lineup.

Join us this upcoming Thursday, April 24th, from 5-7 PM for an “Oak Aged” tasting.  We’ll have a selection of four different styles that have all been oak aged.  Oak aging tends to impart a slight vanilla and/or oak-y flavor into the beer and is used to compliment the flavors that are already present.  Oak and barrel aging is making a huge resurgence and now is a great time to explore some of the great brews that have been created as a result!

The all organic Freehouse Brewing from Charleston has been brewing some fantastic beer since they opened last year, and we’re happy to announce that they will be joining us for a tap takeover on May 9th!  Their owner will be joining us from 5-7 PM that evening as we taste a wide selection of core and seasonal releases.  Freehouse has been brewing up hit after hit and this is one event you won’t want to miss!

We will be open normal hours on Easter Sunday.  If you don’t have plans or just have some last minute beer needs, drop in and see us from 1-5 PM.

This week marked the return of the ever popular Stone Enjoy By IPA!  Only five markets received 5.16.14 and South Carolina was one of the lucky few.  We tapped our keg this morning for growler fills, so drop in and pick some up while it lasts!
