Thanks to everyone who came out for our first Brewery 85 tap takeover!  We hope everyone had a blast meeting (or re-meeting) Will and Meredith, this time while trying their beer!  Their tap room hours officially begin today, so check out their website and find a time that works for you to go out for a visit.  If you missed out on the event last night, we picked up extra kegs to make sure we could continue to pour growlers of Brewery 85 through the weekend.

Join us this upcoming Thursday, March 6th, from 5-7 PM for a tasting featuring spring seasonals that have “spring” in the name.  We’ll have two easy drinking IPAs, a blonde ale, and a saison, all perfect to drink while you’re enjoying the great outdoors during the spring.  Drop in any time during that two hour window and get a jump start on ideas for the upcoming warm weather.

If you’re interested in hanging out with some fellow beer lovers and sharing some fantastic brews, our friends David and Andy are hosting a bottle share on April 26th at 5 PM.  The event has an entry fee of a bottle of something rare, aged, or unavailable in the area.  Spots for the bottle share will be limited so you’ll want to RSVP to David by emailing him at davidnelson316(at)gmail.com as soon as possible.  David will let you know where we’re meeting up and provide a link so you can easily find your way there.  Hotdogs will also be available, so come hungry and thirsty.  We hope to see you there!

If you’re an IPA fan, you’ll want to make sure you stop in as soon as possible.  We’ve had several returning fan favorites with two Ballast Point IPAs and Westbrook‘s Shane’s Big DIPA, along with the new Stochasticity Grapefruit Slam IPA.  Stochasticity is brewed by “Kochenwagner” with grapefruit peel to create a hoppy citrus bomb.  With the upcoming spring, Ballast Point Sculpin and Big Eye cans will be perfect companions for your outdoors adventures.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!  If you’d like daily updates and information about kegs as they’re tapped, make sure to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

Thanks again,

Carl & Vance
