Thanks to everyone that came out for our Smuttynose tasting this past Wednesday!  Their distribution woes should be at an end for now, so you’ll be able to enjoy everything we sampled for a while to come.  All of their brews are great, but their Finestkind IPA is one of the more popular and one you’ll definitely want to try.

Join us this upcoming Wednesday, October 23rd, from 5-7 PM for our Goose Island vintage series tasting.  Goose Island‘s vintage series is their line of Belgian style ales that are all brewed to enjoy now or to age for up to 5 years.  Sofie and Matilda have been requested since we originally opened, and we’re glad to finally have them available.  The entire line isn’t available in South Carolina yet, but we’ll have everything we can get our hands on.

This week brought us two new arrivals that will be in limited supply, so you’ll want to pick them up sooner rather than later.  If you’re a fan of sours, RodenbachVintage 2011 is sure to be a hit.  Each batch is aged in a hand-made oak cask, some dating back over 100 years.  Stone‘s newest collaboration, Suede, is an Imperial Porter that features honey, calendula flowers, and jasmine.  While these aren’t what you’d typically expect to find in a porter, the flavors are well balanced with some fruitiness and the usual chocolate and coffee notes.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!  If you’d like daily updates and information about kegs as they’re tapped, make sure to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

Thanks again,

Carl & Vance
