Thanks to everyone who came out for our Oktoberfest tasting this past Wednesday!  We picked a few different Oktoberfest brews from around the world so everyone could see how different regions prefer the style.  Paulaner Oktoberfest was the most popular overall, but the US had strong contenders with the Thomas Creek and Highland seasonal offerings.

Join us this upcoming Wednesday, September 18th, from 5-7 PM and taste through a selection of limited seasonal releases from Sierra Nevada.  They’ve brought out a wide selection of fall seasonals this year, and we’re interested in seeing which ones are keepers.  These cover a wide range of styles, so come ready to taste lots of different flavors.

The new arrivals this week were fantastic for fans of fall beers and sours.  Four new Pumpkin ales and three Octoberfest ales joined our shelves including Thomas Creek Pumpkin ale and RJ Rockers Gruntled Pumpkin for our fans of local brews.  If you’re a fan of sours, Vanberg & Dewulf Lambickx is a blend of lambics from 2011 that was just bottled in 2013.

We’ve gotten our hands on one of the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp releases for the year – a Belgian-style Black IPA.  This IPA features Sorachi Ace and Nelson Sauvin as well as Belgian yeast to help emphasize the fruitiness of the hops.  We’ve just tapped the keg, so come in for a chance at a limited release from Sierra Nevada.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!  If you’d like daily updates and information about kegs as they’re tapped, make sure to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

Thanks again,

Carl & Vance
