Thanks to everyone who came out for our peach tasting this past week!  We tried to keep them all to different styles and away from the peach beers you typically find.  Westbrook’s Captain Skoon’s Wench was a definite stand out from the others thanks to a nice flavor balance.

Join us this upcoming Wednesday, July 31st, from 5-7 PM for a tasting featuring a selection of ciders from around the world.  We’re trying to make sure summer gets a nice send off, and these should help you finish those last few weeks refreshed and cool.  We’ll have some varied types of cider and a few that we think will really surprise you, especially if you don’t think of yourself as typically being a cider fan.

This week brought us a lot of new arrivals that we’ve only heard whispers of in the past.  When we had our tap takeover with Foothills, their Seeing Double IPA was incredibly popular and tapped out before the event was even over.  Seeing Double is now finally available in bottles, so now you can either enjoy it again or discover it for the first time if you missed it previously.  We also received a shipment of barrel aged People’s Porter that’s sure to be a hit.

Fall is starting early this year with the arrival of Octoberfest, Pumpkins, and other seasonals arriving now.  Things started rolling this week with Sierra Nevada’s Tumbler as well as rumors of others starting to show up in the next week or two.  If you’re a fan of fall brews, be on the lookout for some seasonal selections in the coming weeks.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks again,

Carl & Vance
