Thanks to everyone who came out for our Hefeweizen tasting this past Wednesday.  All of our selections were popular, but the Grand Teton Howling Wolf was a big surprise overall.  We hope we helped find a few new refreshing favorites for the summer heat.

This week is the last week to purchase a raffle ticket before our big one year anniversary charity raffle on Sunday, July 7th.  Tickets are $5 each and all of the proceeds will go to whichever charity has the most votes at the end.  The raffle is winner take all, and we’ve collected a lot of limited releases we’ve had in through the year for the basket.  If you’d like to see the list or purchase an entry, you have until 9 PM on Saturday, July 6th.  We’ll be drawing the winner at 2 PM on Sunday, July 7th.  We’ll also have our tasting that day, so be sure to drop in any time from 1-5 PM and we’ll get you set up.

This week marked the release of Southern Tier Crème Brulee.  We’ve had questions about the availability of this dessert stout for the past few months and it’s definitely one you won’t want to miss out on.  This week also marked the return of Founders and Brooklyn Brewery to our shelves.  They’ve been having some trouble getting back to our area recently and we hope this marks a change in their availability.

We’ll be open from 11 AM – 9 PM on Thursday, July 4th.  If you need some last minute growlers or bottles for your cookout or get together we’ll be here waiting for you.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks again,

Westbrook IPA
Foothills People’s Porter

Thanks to everyone who came out for our Foothills tap takeover!  Their double IPA, Seeing Double, was a big hit with everyone and we found out last night that it should be showing up in the area more frequently and in bottles before too long.  We’ve still got a little beer still lingering in three of the kegs, so come fill your growler and help us get them out of here.

Join us this upcoming Wednesday, June 26th, from 5-7PM for a tasting of different Hefeweizens / Wheat Ales.  We’ll have selections from all over the world that should be slightly different from one another.  We think they’re a perfect fit for the warm summer weather and hope we can help you find a new favorite to help beat the heat.

This week marks the arrival of the newest Trappist brewery Stift Engelszell from Austria.  They’re the first Trappist brewery in Austria and the first new Trappist in over 10 years.  Make sure you check out what they’re brewing and let us know how you think it matches up to the greats we’ve known and loved for years.  We also received the new Stone Brewing RuinTen which is their tenth anniversary Ruination.  If you prefer your IPAs as West Coast style hop bombs, this is one you’ll want to get soon.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks to everyone who joined us for another Randall experiment this past Wednesday.  We were a little more prepared this time and allowed the Son of a Peach to soak the cherries for a little while before anyone got here.  The cherries imparted a slight extra flavor to the beer and helped smooth it out even more.

Join us this upcoming Friday, June 21st, from 5-7 PM for a tap takeover with Foothills out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  We’ll feature a selection of four of their brews on tap, free glassware with your growler fill, and a representative from the brewery to tell you all about their beer and what they’ve got going on at the brewery!  It should be a great time, and we look forward to seeing everyone.

Don’t forget about the charity raffle we started on June 1st because tickets are starting to add up, and our first anniversary is drawing closer each day.  In case you’re unaware about the raffle, tickets are $5 each with no buy in limit and provide a chance to win a selection of hard to find beers that we’ve received over the course of the past year.  With each entry, you get a vote for which charity gets all of the proceeds at the end.  We’ll draw the winner on July 7th, and you aren’t required to be here, but we might have a few surprises in store for everyone that drops in.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our beer and cheese pairing tasting!  We had a lot of fun picking everything out, and we were glad they all turned out as well as they did.  In case you couldn’t make it or forgot some of the pairings the two most popular were Blue D’Auvergne with Fuller’s London Porter, and Cave Aged Gruyere with Grand Teton Pursuit of Hoppiness.

Join us this upcoming Wednesday, June 12th, from 5-7 PM as we bring the Randall back.  This time, we’ll run RJ Rockers Son of a Peach through some fresh cherries.  Our idea is that we can turn this nice summer wheat into something a little sweeter, or hopefully bring out some tart notes.  If you’d like to see some more flavor experimentation, be sure to join us.  We’re also still always looking for your ideas for other things we can infuse.

Since we’re a good way into summer our new arrivals are starting to get a little slow again, so we thought this would be a good time to remind everyone that we can help you out with your party needs.  If you’re looking to have a get together, party, or anything else that would go great with a keg we’d be happy to help you out!  As long as you give us a heads up at least a week ahead of time, we can get your keg added to our order.  If you’d like to talk pricing and options, drop in or shoot us a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks to everyone who joined us as we welcomed Railhouse to our shelves this past Wednesday.  The Ka-Bar Brown and Pale Ale were in close competition for favorites at the tasting.  Since then, the Ka-Bar has flown thanks to it having a different taste from your typical brown ale.

Join us next Friday, June 7th, from 5-7PM for our beer and cheese pairing tasting.  We’re going to have a selection of four different beers and cheeses to partner up with each other.  This event will still be free just like all of our previous tastings, so bring your friends and help us pack the store!

This weekend marks the beginning of our first anniversary charity raffle.  Starting today, June 1st, we’ll begin selling $5 entries into a chance at some limited beer that was released throughout the year.  All of the proceeds from this raffle will be donated to a local charity that will be selected by everyone that buys entries.  We’ve included a few charities on the raffle ticket, but feel free to write in your own ideas.  A few examples of beers that we’ve included in the basket are Brooklyn Black Ops, Founders KBS, and Founders Doom.  You aren’t limited in your entries, so buy as many as you’d like to increase your chances and the chances of the charity you choose!  The winner will be drawn on July 7th at 2 PM, and we hope to see you here.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!
