Thanks to everyone who came out for our tasting experiment with beer blends. There were a few misses involved, but a lot of hits in terms of surprising combinations. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did. Our next tasting will be this upcoming Wednesday, March 6th, from 5-7PM and we’ll taste a selection from Great Divide. Come on out and join us for another good time. You should also go ahead and mark your calendar for the following Friday, March 15th, because we’re having Brewery 85 come out to join us for a special event. We thought everyone would like a chance to pick Will’s brain to get an early look into what has inspired their brews and what propelled his love of craft beer. Come on out from 5:30-7:30 for a meet and greet event along with a tasting of those inspirations.
This week, we finally received Omission Lager from Widmer Brothers. This is another gluten free beer with a super low PPM count instead of being sorghum based. Unlike the sorghum gluten free beers, these are supposed to actually taste like normal beer. If you’re looking for something gluten free, give this a try and let us know what you think of it compared to some of the others.
Stone Enjoy By IPA finally hit our area with their most recent batch, 4.1.13. If you’re an IPA fan, this is the one to find. They’ve made it specifically to be “enjoyed” super fresh, and have given it a very specific shelf life to compliment this. There’s no guarantee this will come back to our state, so you’ll want to get it before it’s gone. We still have bottles left, and just tapped our keg this morning. They’re sure to go quick, so don’t let it pass you by.
We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future. If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it! Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!
Thanks again,
Carl & Vance
