Thanks to everyone who came out this week for our Rogue tasting. We used the last of our mead along with 3 other “Grow Your Own” organics, and we found a few pleasant surprises. Our next tasting will be on Wednesday, Feb 27th from 5-7PM and we’ll taste a selection of blends. We were given a list of blended beers that produce some fun results that we thought people might not have had before. One example of a blend is the “Dirty Peach” from RJ Rockers where you mix Son of a Peach with Bald Eagle Brown.
This week was a crazy week for new beer from Dogfish Head. This week alone, we received 4 new selections, and 1 returner that people have been trying to find. Burton Baton is a mix of two different threads of beer that have been barrel aged – it has consistently been called a favorite by several of you. Another huge arrival is a new shipment of 75 Minute brewed with maple syrup. We’ve also finally gotten our hands on Dogfish’s collaboration with Sierra Nevada called Rhizing Bines. Bines is hopped using Dogfish’s method, followed by being thrown into a Sierra Nevada torpedo to further hop it. It also uses an experimental hop that hasn’t even been named yet.
We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future. If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it! Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!
Thanks again,
Carl & Vance
