We know it’s a little early, but we want to wish everyone a Happy New Year.  We hope everyone had a good Christmas, and is ready for the New Year.  We’ve saved a spot on tap just for New Year’s Eve.  On Monday morning, we’ll be tapping a keg of the Dogfish Head Miles Davis Bitches Brew.  If you aren’t familiar with the beer, “In honor of the 40th anniversary of the original release of Bitches Brew, Miles Davis’ 1970 paradigm-shifting landmark fusion breakthrough, we’ve created our own Bitches Brew — a bold, dark beer that’s a fusion of three threads of imperial stout and one thread of honey beer with gesho root. It’s a gustatory analog to Miles’ masterpiece.”

This holiday season has kept us busy, and we’re still bringing in a lot of new labels.  Christmas seasonals are disappearing rapidly, so if you’re still looking for that winter spice you might want to pick some up sooner rather than later.  Spring seasonals should start arriving within the next few weeks, so be on the lookout for updates on Facebook and Twitter.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks again,

Carl & Vance

It may not have actually been the end of the world, but our “end of the world” tasting was a success.  Thanks to everyone who came out for our last tasting of the year.  We’ve got some great ideas in store for 2013, and we can’t wait to see everyone here again.  You can go ahead and mark your calendar for January 22nd for our tasting with Stone Brewing Company – we’ll have a representative here to share his knowledge of their great brews with you. As you can see from our upcoming kegs, we’ve got some fantastic selections coming up.  Be prepared for these to go quick.  If you see one you’re interested in, you’ll probably want to get here sooner rather than later.  A few of these won’t come around again for a while, and you won’t want to miss out!

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

We wish a safe and Happy Holidays to all our customers,

This upcoming week, our tasting is being moved to Friday, December 21st.  Since some people say the world is going to “end,” we thought we should help send it out in style.  Come on in from 5-7PM and try some “End of the World” beer you might not have had before.  This is our last tasting for the year, but we’ll be back to our normal schedule in early January.  The only one set in stone so far will be on January 22nd…with Stone Brewing Company.

With Christmas coming up, our hours are changing.  Here’s the schedule so everyone is prepared.

Monday, December 24th – 11am – 3pm
Tuesday, December 25th – CLOSED

Normal hours resume on Wednesday, December 26th.

We’ve still got some of the Thomas Creek Banana Split Stout left, but you’ll have to hurry before it’s gone.  We used it at our last tasting to make floats, and they were a hit.  If you’re unable to get some of it, you could try the Left Hand Milk Stout or pick up a few Chocolate Stouts and give them a shot.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

We hope you’re ready for an awesome tasting.  Come on out this upcoming Wednesday, December 12th, from 5 to 7 PM, and enjoy some floats with us!  We’ll be tapping the Thomas Creek Banana Split Stout and pouring it over some ice cream.  We’ve heard that the combination is a knock-out and thought you all might enjoy it too.  Our tasting this past week was one of our most successful so far, and we want to thank everyone for coming out.

Looking to grow your growler collection?  We brought in some clear growlers this time so everyone can enjoy seeing their beer.  Some people say clear isn’t a great option because of the sunlight exposure, but who really keeps their growler long enough for that to happen?  We’ve also got a few growlers from out of state if you’re interested in something different – but they’re a little pricier.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

We hope everyone had a good few days off, and is ready to get back to tasting some great beer.  This upcoming Wednesday, December 5th, marks a short return to tastings leading up to Christmas.  This week we’ll taste a selection of Christmas beers.  We get a lot of questions about how they all actually differ from one another, so we thought it would be a good opportunity for everyone to see how they’re balanced.  We’ve got some great things planned for the rest of the month, so keep an eye out for the last few newsletters of the year.

We’ve got some Highland Cold Mountain 12 packs in, but they’ve been limited to one per customer.  We also have a small number of 12 ounce bottles for sale as well.

If you’re looking for some great craft beer Christmas ideas, we’ve been updating our Facebook page with a few things to try and help out.  If you or someone you know is looking for some beer but you aren’t quite sure what to get, we’ve got you covered with gift cards.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!
