Sippin’ in Simpsonville is this weekend!  We’re excited to see how it turns out, and hope everyone ends up having a blast.  We’ve still got a few tickets left if you still need one, so come on in.  If you’d like more information, please visit the event on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/129156487229561/, or call 963-3781.

Our tasting this past week consisted of Octoberfest and Pumpkin beers.  Of our selection, the Southern Tier Pumking trumped all of them.  Our next tasting is this upcoming Tuesday, October 2 from 5-7PM and will feature Sierra Nevada.  With each purchase of something from Sierra Nevada, we’ll be giving away a free glass while supplies last with a limit of one per customer.  We’re looking forward to having everyone in again!

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks again,

Thanks a ton to everyone who came out for our tasting this past Wednesday!  We hope the Stone Smoked Porter and its variations went over well.  The vanilla bean seemed to be the clear winner in terms of favorites.  We were surprised, and expected the spread to be a lot closer.

Our next tasting will be the last one before October, so we’re going to be sampling different Octoberfest and Pumpkin beers.  We thought it would be a nice transition into the month and season, and would hopefully get you to try a few that you might not have tried otherwise.  Maybe you’ll be able to find a new favorite that you might not have expected!

Sippin’ in Simpsonville is next weekend, and we hope every one of you that attends enjoys the selection that has been picked out.  We’ve still got tickets available for $15.  If you wait until the day of the event, they’ll be $20 instead.  If you’d like more information about Sippin’ in Simpsonville, please visit the event on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/129156487229561/, or call 963-3781.

This past week marked our official ribbon cutting with the Simpsonville Chamber of Commerce!  We’re extremely excited to have joined them, and for the opportunity to have an official ribbon cutting.  Thanks to everyone who came out to support us!

We also had our first “themed” tasting this past week with a feature on Stouts. This was all in honor of the Founders Breakfast Stout, which we managed to get in at the last minute just for the tasting.  We hope it was a nice surprise for everyone that was there.  Our next tasting will be September 19th from 5-7 PM as per usual, and we can’t wait to have everyone in again.  We’re making the final decisions on the theme for this week.  We’ve had a great list of ideas come in already, and we’re always looking for more.

Sippin’ in Simpsonville is coming up in two short weeks (Sat 29 Sept).  We’ve partnered with the city to help make a nice selection of beer for this year.  Come by the store if you’d like to buy a ticket, and see the glass that you’ll be getting as well.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

On September 13th, Crafted will be having a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 AM!  Anyone who attends will receive 5% off of their purchase.  We will be opening as soon as the ribbon cutting is over, instead of at our normal 11 AM.

After a long wait, our gift cards have finally arrived.  If you don’t know someone’s favorite brews and don’t want to try to make them a six pack or pick something on tap, pick up an empty growler and gift card for them.  We also have Duvel and Chimay gift packs in that contain a few different beers from the brewery, and a glass.

With football season kicking into full gear, we would love to make sure we have your favorite football beer.  If there’s something that we’re missing, please make sure to let us know.  Growlers are a fantastic way to have your favorites nice and fresh for the big rivalry game.

We originally planned to have a stout tasting on September 12th from 5-7PM in honor of Founders Breakfast Stout being released, but we’re still unable to get our hands on it.  We’re still going to be moving forward with the same theme regardless, so the selection will just be a little different than originally anticipated.  We’re still attempting to set something up with different distributors and breweries for a brewery themed tasting, and would love to hear your suggestions of who we should contact.  We’re also interested in what other themes people might be interested in for tastings like this one.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

We managed to get two very special arrivals in this week, and we hope people get a chance to enjoy them.  They’re both limited, so make sure you’re quick and get them while our supplies last.

First up, Stone’s 16th Anniversary IPA:

This year our brewing team was inspired by some exotic-ish additions of the lemony persuasion. Yes, it’s a Double IPA (can you really say you’re surprised?), but as we strive to do with all our Stone Anniversary Ales of the let’s-take-this-IPA-in-a-new-direction variety, we’ve brewed up a Stone-worthy divergence from tradition. The amount of rye malt we used isn’t quite enough to warrant the appellation “Rye IPA,” but it still adds hints of spiciness that contrast deliciously with the tropical fruit flavors and aromas of the Amarillo and Calypso hops. Add a few European specialty malts, some lemon verbena, and three more hop varieties to the mix, and you have a highly complex brew melding both bitter and fruity hop notes with rich toasted malt character punctuated by nuances of spicy rye and subtle lemon.

Followed by Rogue’s Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Ale:

Rogue Ales has collided with Voodoo Doughnut to create Bacon Maple Ale! This unique artisan creation contains a baker’s dozen number of ingredients including bacon and maple syrup from one of Voodoo’s signature doughnuts.

Founders Brewing Co Breakfast Stout is finally hitting shelves this upcoming week.  We’ll have it as soon as we can get in a delivery.  In honor of its release this year, we’re planning a stout tasting on September 12th.  Come out from 5-7PM and enjoy a sampling of four different stouts.  Hopefully you can find a new favorite for when the cold weather finally hits our area!

Our five new taps are finally installed, and will be ready to go shortly.  We’ve run into a few issues getting tap handles, and we’re finally getting our hands on another chalkboard so we can actually display all 10 selections and their pricing.  We apologize for all of the delays, but it’ll be worth it in the end when our selection has doubled.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!
