Thanks to everyone who came out for our Evil Twin tasting this past Thursday!  We had a great time introducing everyone to this gypsy brewery and their wide range of styles.  Citra Sunshine Slacker and Bikini Beer both made really strong showings and confused a lot of people with their ABVs.  Even though Bikini Beer is only 2.7%, most people thought it was a higher percentage than the Citra!

Join us this upcoming Thursday, September 3rd, from 5-7 PM for an IPA tasting.  In honor of Alpine launching in South Carolina, we wanted to give everyone a chance to try their legendary Duet.  Stop in any time during the two hour window and see just how drastically different an IPA can be due to the hop profile the brewer uses.

If you haven’t already put these dates on your calendar, you might want to hurry up before you accidentally schedule something else for that day!  Fan favorite Founders Brewing Co will be joining us for a tap takeover on Friday, September 18th, and we’ve got some amazing kegs waiting including their famous KBS.  We’ll continue to let details slip as we get closer to the event.  You’ll also want to be prepared for Oskar Blues on Friday, October 2nd.  These will be some of our best lineups yet and we can’t wait!

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!  If you’d like daily updates and information about kegs as they’re tapped, make sure to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

Thanks again,

Thanks to everyone who came out for our Oktoberfest tasting this past Thursdayevening!  We had a great time sharing some of our favorites and last year’s favorites with everyone as the season is gearing up.  Victory Festbier had a strong showing like always thanks to being a bit darker and more complex than the rest of the lineup.

Join us this upcoming Thursday, August 27th, from 5-7 PM for a tasting featuring Evil Twin Brewing!  This gypsy brewery has been making waves with their unique (and sometimes off the wall) creations.  We’ll have a wide array of styles represented including one of the most original beers we’ve ever seen.  If you’ve ever seen their labels on the shelf but have been unsure then this will be the perfect time to see what they’re all about!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our Amber tasting this past Thursday!  This malt forward style makes a perfect companion for the season change while still being easy drinking.  There were fans of all the beers we tried but The Unknown Brewing‘s Hospitali-Tea was the clear winner.  It’s been one of our favorites for a while and the cans turned out extremely well.  Their usage of tea and honey makes it one of the more unique Ambers we’ve experienced.

Join us this upcoming Thursday, August 20th, from 5-7 PM for an Oktoberfest tasting.  Since we’re all dreaming of fall, and these beers are rolling in, we thought it would be a great time to visit the style.  Drop in anytime during the two hour window to try these seasonal beers.

Thanks to everyone who came out for our Birds Fly South tap takeover!  We loved getting to introduce everyone to Shawn’s Saisons while re-introducing the people behind the brewery.  Their Rustic Sunday Rye Saison was the biggest hit of the evening with the other two coming in close behind.  We’re excited to see what they’ve got coming next!
