Thanks to everyone who joined us for our American Craft Beer Week tasting this Friday where we featured a selection of South Carolina brews.  We had a lot of fun bringing breweries from all over the state to our taps.  Our state is already going strong, and is only going to keep getting better as all of these new breweries continue to pop up.

Join us this upcoming Friday, May 24th, from 5-7PM for a tasting event featuring the new Thomas Creek Chocolate Orange IPA!  They’ve finally brought this fan favorite from kegs to bottles, and we’re going to see how the two of them compare.  With every growler fill or 4-pack purchase, you’ll also secure yourself a Thomas Creek pint glass while supplies last.

This week brought us a small portion of Bell’s Oberon party cans.  We had a few of the Two Hearted party cans when they released a few months ago, and they sold extremely quickly.  If you’re looking for one of these for your weekend getaway, or maybe for a small party, you’ll want to consider getting it sooner than later.  They’re 1.3 gallons, and perfect for a group of people to share and enjoy.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks again,

Thanks to everyone who came out for our River Dog tap takeover yesterday!  You all really blew this one out of the water and made it a huge success.  There isn’t much left in any of their kegs, so you’ll have to come in soon if you’d like to try one or get a refill.  We would also like to extend a special thank you to the owner, Josh, and their distributor, Jason, for taking time out of their schedules to be here for it so you could all know the brewery and their beer a little better.

This upcoming week is American Craft Beer Week, so we’re going to take this opportunity to have a tasting of South Carolina beer on Friday, May 17th.  Come join us from 5-7PM as we taste a selection of local favorites, and maybe a hidden gem or two you might not have tried before.

We’ll be tapping a lot of new kegs throughout the weekend thanks to the huge success of our tap takeover.  Be on the lookout for updates on Facebook, Twitter, and our website.  We didn’t want to let it delay our newsletter since we still have new arrivals here as well.

This week marked the arrival of a few more summer seasonals, as well as Sierra Nevada Torpedo in cans.  As the weather continues to warm up, we’ll be picking up more cans for your outdoors needs.  More and more breweries are starting to can, and we want you to be able to enjoy some of their creations wherever you are.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our Saison tasting!  We hope everyone had as much fun as we did, and enjoyed the further introduction into spring beers.  Ommegang’s Hennepin seemed to be one of the big standouts, and we hope that’ll introduce a few more people to the brewery in general.

Make sure you’ve got time reserved for our tasting this upcoming Friday, May 10th, from 5-7PM.  We’ll have River Dog Brewing from Ridgeland, SC here to taste a selection of what they’ve got brewing.  Their owner will be here to give us the run down on everything that we taste, and we should have some swag to give away as well.  They’re a young brewery, but they’ve already had an awesome showing and we can’t wait to introduce more people to them.

Red Brick Brewing Co from Atlanta, GA has hit our shelves!  Come help us give them a warm welcome, and check out their two year-round brews (Hoplanta, Laughing Skull), and their seasonals (starting with Black-Eye Rye, an India Black Ale made with rye).

We also received a shipment of Anderson Valley’s Bourbon barrel Stout.  They’ve formed a partnership with Wild Turkey to use their barrels, and we had a keg of this at our tap takeover with them.  If the bottles are anything like the keg, we’ll run out very quickly so you’ll want to try one of these soon.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks to everyone that came out for our Witbier tasting.  We couldn’t tell if there was a clear favorite, but it was interesting watching everyone’s opinions as we went through all of our selections.  Join us this upcoming Wednesday, May 1st, from 5-7PM for a selection of Saisons.  We thought they would make another nice transition into the warmer weather.

Make sure you’ve marked down Friday, May 10th, from 5-7PM.  We’re going to have the owner of River Dog here for a tap takeover.  They’re a new brewery out of Ridgeland, SC and they’re already brewing some amazing beers.  We’ll have a selection of four of their beers, including a seasonal or two.  The list of what we’re pouring will be finalized this upcoming week, so be on the lookout for our next email and a Facebook event for the list.

This week was slim in terms of new arrivals, but it also marked the return of Stone’s Enjoy By IPA.  We’re getting close to running out of this super fresh IPA, so you’ll want to get here sooner rather than later if you’re hoping to get a few bottles or a growler.  If you’re an IPA fan, this is one you won’t want to miss out on.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our “springtime” tasting this past Friday.  The clear favorite seemed to be the Left Hand Good Juju, but the others weren’t far behind.  We also featured Bell’s Oberon, Coast Kolsch, and Doc’s Framboise Cider.

We’ll be returning to our Wednesday tastings this week from 5-7PM.  Come on out to try a sampling of witbiers.  With the season finally upon us, we want to continue showing some options that are out there for your drinking pleasure when you’ve been spending the day outside working.

On May 10th, River Dog Brewing out of Ridgeland, SC will be joining us for a tap takeover!  They’re less than a year old, but already have some amazing stuff brewing.  Come join us and their owner as we sample a few selections from them.  On top of getting to try something you’ve probably never tried before, we’ll also have some swag to give away.

This week marked the arrival of the Whole Milk Stout from Coast Brewing Co out of Charleston.  They’ve been around for a few years, and some of their limited releases can be difficult to get your hands on.  Come in and check out their two year round releases, HopArt IPA and the 32/50 Kolsch, or one of their limited releases we have in stock.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our Founders event last night!  We had Jonathan from Founders here to share some stories and some of their fantastic brews.  We had a great time and hope everyone else did, too.

Next week, we’ll be sticking to Friday from 5-7PM.  Instead of having a brewery here, we’ll taste a selection that’s more suited to the warmer weather that we’ve been having.  These won’t necessarily be spring or summer seasonals, but they’ll fit the appropriate style.  We’ve got a few in mind that we think you might not have tried before.  We’ve also got another brewery event coming up in just a few weeks.  We’re going to try to get the final details ironed out in the next week (two at the most) so we can let everyone know.

This week was pretty slim for new arrivals, but everything we got was something special.  If you’re an IPA fan, a majority of these will be ones you’ll want to check out soon.  Heelch O’Hops and the Imperial Kashmir should be things you’ll be slightly more familiar with, but the Coast Smoked Rye Pale Ale should be more unique.  On top of that, Coast limited releases can be difficult to find.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our can tasting this past week.  We had some great canned beer, perfect for the upcoming spring and summer.  We’ll be trying to highlight cans and great summer beer as the weather continues to stay consistent and warm.

This upcoming Friday, April 12th, we’ll have Founders here for a tap takeover from 5-7 PM!  We’re still waiting on the final list of what we’ll be pouring, but we’ll be sure to keep everyone updated through the event posting on our Facebook page.  Regardless of what we have, this will be one you won’t want to miss!  Founders has some amazing brews, and very rarely misses the mark with one of them.

This week has been great for new arrivals and news of upcoming returns.  We received a shipment of Dogfish Head’s Sixty-One, which is their 60 Minute IPA with grape must added.  If their other IPAs are any indication, this one will be fantastic yet slightly different.  In terms of announcements for the week, Stone has said that their next Enjoy By IPA will be “Enjoy By 5.17.13” and is going to hit South Carolina!  We’ll be asking our distributor immediately and trying to secure every bit of it we can get.

We’re excited to be able to help fill your beer needs now and in the future.  If you’ve got any beer suggestions or ideas, or any feedback, we would love to hear it!  Keep an eye out for more emails in the future with updates about events, new beers, new kegs, and more!
